Central Fisheries Research Institute (SUMAE)​​ is an institution of the Republic of Türkiye government under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (TOB), General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policy (TAGEM). SUMAE carries out a range of research, advisory, consultancy, monitoring and training activities on Türkiye particularly in the field of applied marine and freshwater science and research providing solutions for fisheries and aquaculture at an international level.
